Original Adolf Hitler Bust by Theodor Linz. This is an original pre-1945 heavy metal bust of Adolf Hitler that was liberated by a G.I. who pried the metal bust off its original marble base which is often the case with these busts. The marble base has since been expertly replaced with a lovely polished marble base. The bronze-finished bust bears the sculptor’s name near the neck line “TH. LINZ” (Theodor Linz was a well-known sculptor during the Third Reich. He was also an early Nazi Party member and SA man who fought alongside Hitler and his brownshirts in the 1920’s).
